A volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to providing fun, safe, communication-rich camps that promote the physical, spiritual, and social development of Deaf/hard of hearing children and children learning American Sign Language.
Deaf and ASL Camp for summer 2021 is tentatively scheduled for late July. Camp Manidokan is taking every precaution to ensure camp is safe this summer and is still waiting to hear from state and county governments whether or not camp will be able to open due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Deaf Camp and ASL Camp (for ages 7-18) will take place in July–tentatively, see above note–starting Sunday, July 25th and ending Friday, July 30th, 2021 at Manidokan Camp and Retreat Center in Knoxville, MD.
Young Adult Deaf Camp (for ages 18+ with disabilities) will take place in early summer 2021 at West River Center in West River, MD.
